Canadian students are defined as citizens or permanent residents.
International students require a valid visitor visa (to study in Canada for less than 6 months) or study permit (to study in Canada for more than six months).
Tuition fees are payable by the following:
- cheque (payable to The High School at VIU)
- credit card
- online banking
- wire transfer

- If homestay is required, homestay fees and custodianship fees will be invoiced separately by Canadian Homestay Network (CHN).

The High School at VIU is bonded with the Ministry of Education, Province of British Columbia. The bonding arrangement ensures that all fees paid to The High School at VIU are insured against liabilities. All students are required to initially register and pay in full for a minimum of two terms.
