VIU High School Graduates

Christine Lynch, BFA, BEd, CELTA

Christine Lynch is an enthusiastic new teacher at The High School at VIU. After spending time traveling and living in Costa Rica, she returned to pursue her career in teaching. She finished her first degree at Emily Carr University with a major in painting. She was greatly inspired by her peers but realized she enjoyed the historical side of art as much as the creative process. Moreover, she continued her studies here at Vancouver Island University with a focus in History then she obtained her Education Degree. As they say learning never ends, so she went back to school one more time. She received her CELTA through the University of Cambridge and continues to grow her knowledge in ELL with the help of mentors such as Tricia Young.
