Catherine has had the privilege of being the principal at THS since June 2014. Prior to arriving at THS, Catherine has taught in the Faculties of Education at VIU and UBC, been a principal in two public schools in Vancouver, and was the Founding Head of School of Aspengrove School in Lantzville, BC. She has led two International Baccalaureate schools and is delighted to start her third IB journey at THS.
Throughout her 30+ year career, Catherine has taught all grades from K-12, students at the university level as well as teaching courses and workshops in Leadership and Communication to managers and directors in various Ministries in the Province of BC as well as the City of Whitehorse, Yukon. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys doing CrossFit, playing with her grandchildren, walking, and hanging out with her cat, Sir Thomas.
